Body Socks Lycra Resistance Bands are ideal for individuals who crave sensory input, particularly proprioceptive and vestibular input. Body Socks Lycra Resistance Bands are very stretchy and provide resistance when you push out in them. This provides deep pressure through the joints (proprioceptive input).

Safety & Use:

  • Adult supervision is recommended.
  • Intended for resistance-based sensory, movement and exercise activities.
  • Use in a clear, safe space away from obstacles and sharp objects.
  • Do not wrap the Resistance Band around the neck, face or head.
  • Do not use for climbing, swinging or supporting full body weight.
  • Do not overstretch the band or stretch beyond what is reasonably required for its intended use.
  • Maintain a secure grip during use and avoid releasing the band while under tension.
  • Keep the band away from the face and eyes when stretched.
  • Regularly inspect the Resistance Band for signs of excessive wear, damage, loose stitching or deterioration. Discontinue use if damaged.
  • Use only for its intended purpose.

The recommendation for the resistance band is small for a child and large for an adult. If you are planning on using the band with two children at a time, then we would recommend a large. Also, it depends on how you are planning to utilise the product as it is quite versatile.
